Marc LeMay composes concert music in every medium, from chamber pieces, extended-form jazz, electroacoustic works, and art songs to larger-form choral and orchestral works. His style represents an eclectic blend of influences, including his favorite composers (Beethoven, Strauss, Bartók, Stravinsky, Messiaen, Prokofiev, and Mingus, among others), jazz, and folk music.
